Le Jardin d'EDEN "réservé aux couples" ★★★★

The staff were great, the mood was relaxed and the clubs are close by. The rooms were quiet and secure with proper sound proofing

The wifi did not work if you were more than a few metres from the bar.

Very central location. Airconditioning was effective and quiet. Balcony was nice.

The room did not have some very basic facilities like an iron, a hairdryer, decent coffee machine and the kettle as well as the light in the toilet was not working. Upon reporting all of this to the staff we managed to eventually obtain a new kettle and a hair dryer. The other facilities remained non-existent or not working. Locally provided broadband was also very slow an unreliable.

Visited this property previously, so was aware of what it offered.

On arrival the managing agents advised me the room had not been paid for by Booking . Com, after a while they agreed it had been paid. The following day a note was stuck to my front entrance door advising me i needed to pay the local tax of 61.60 euros, trying to advise them it was included on my booking confirmation print out,not agreeing was pressured into paying this extra money.Have tried speaking to yourselves on this as your price confirmation states taxes included,so not happy with this. Been to this resort 15 times before and never had this when booking with others.

Instructions to check in are incorrect and false when booking. Need to clarify and be honest (1st check into location, then go to hotel office in same building, and no golf cart available. Our taxi waited for us for an hour to figure things out)

Good size rooms, nice pool & great location to the beach, Glamour next door and Melrose where we spend most nights.

We stayed at Babylon the sister hotel to Eden earlier in the year and throughly enjoyed. Sammy & the staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for you. At Eden you don’t get quite the same service but the location is great and I’d still go back

Great to be naked by and in the pool plus playing naked in the jacuzzi with like minded people

We were dropped off by a friend's car at the entrance complex and paid EUR15 at the front of the complex to get in. However, staff there did not tell us we also had to check in to our actual hotel at another office a couple of doors down. So we dragged all our luggage across gravel car parks towards our hotel which was almost a km walk from the entrance. We got there hot, sweaty and exhausted but couldn't get into the gate of the hotel. No one in nearby shops spoke much english to be able to assist us. Luckily we met another couple who had been there a few times before and knew what to do. They had a car and offered to drove me the km back to the front entrance. My partner waited with our luggage while they drove me and they also assisted in speaking french to the non-english speaking clerk while I checked in, then drove me back to the hotel. Without this lovely couple I have no idea what we would have done. Note that 2 days later we met a poor young girl on her own in exactly the same situation as us. Unfortunately we had not means to drive her back to the front entrance so the poor girl had to lug her luggage back the km to the front entrance to sort it out herself. I felt so sorry for her. Breakfast was meant to be included but we had no idea where we were meant to go for this. I sent an email to the hotel to ask but it was never answered. We were there for 3 nights yet they only gave us 1 roll of toilet paper and we had to buy extra ourselves. They gave us only one tiny bar of soap for washing (no body wash). There was no dishwashing liquid or dish cloths... we also had to buy those ourselves. There was a coffee machine but no coffee, and no sachets of sugar, salt or pepper. The room itself was lovely and location great, but I cannot believe that for the price of AU$650 a night they did not provide any english speaking assistance or basic toiletries and condiments.

English speaking staff and provision of enough basic toiletries and food condiments. They should also provide a car or cart to transport travelers and their luggage to their hotel and make sure they can get in OK.
